After 30 years of serving the community, the restaurant's owners are taking some time to serve themselves.

It seems like every other week or so a local restaurant closes its doors (and new ones keep opening up for that matter). I like to root for my friends and neighbors to succeed and no one likes to see businesses go under. However, this case is for a reason we can get behind.

According to WYNT, Ferretti's Pizza which opened up on Ushers Rd. in 1988 announced that this past weekend would be their last in business and closed their doors on Saturday for good. Luckily the restaurant doesn't seem to be closing due to any sort of business issues.

Actually, the owners have decided to retire and want to focus on spending time with family. That is really what we are all working so hard towards every day, right?

What would you like to see take its place?
