There seems to be a surge in population north of the Twin Bridges. Saratoga County has boasted most of the growth in population in the last eight years. Two towns specifically had the most in New York state. According to The Daily Gazette, who cited the United States Census Bureau, there has been a significant increase in population. Specifically in Ballston Spa and Halfmoon. Ballston Spa has seen a fifteen point two percent growth from 2010 to 2018. Halfmoon, which is only a few miles from there, has seen its population grow fourteen point two percent over the same period.

Some of the contributing factors in these Saratoga County towns becoming the fastest-growing are The GlobalFoundries computer chip fab plant in Malta and the easy access to the Northway.

Saratoga County's overall population is up over eleven thousand since 2010 according to the U.S. Census. Plus most cities and towns within Saratoga County showed some increase over the past eight years.
