I see a lot of unusual things living in the Center Square portion of Albany, but this one is a bit of head scratcher.  My girlfriend Samantha texted me a picture of a rather strange public apology letter, typed and placed on a street light pole on the corner of State St. and Lark Street in Albany on Saturday.

Another local Bruegger's, this one in Albany, suddenly announced Monday that they're closed.  Only 9 remain in the Capital Region for this one-time bagel king.

Madison VanDenburg and Moriah Formica, two of the areas most talented singers, have announced a show together at the Times Union Center in June.

Square pizzas, good times, and cold brews! Guilderland will soon be getting in on what Albany residents have known - and loved -  for years. An iconic 100-year-old pizza place/tavern will be getting a second location in a new town.

Wow. I don't think any of us saw that coming. The Albany Patroons made a trip out to Yakima, Washington this week and came away with a thrilling overtime win on Tuesday night against the leagues top team.  The victory tied the best-of-three series at one game a piece and forced a 'winner take all' championship game Friday night in Albany.
