Viva Las Vegas baby!

It's been about a year since Southwest airlines ended their non stop flights from Albany to Las Vegas but that is about to change once fall rolls around.

According to the Times Union Southwest will be reinstating the nonstop service to Las Vegas on a seasonal basis beginning October 3rd and has already started taking reservations.

While the direct route won't come in time to make it to Sin City for ZZ Top's mini Vegas residency in April I'm sure there are plenty of awesome shows coming up that you can use as an excuse to take a trip to the desert.

Round trip flights from Albany to Las Vegas and back are priced at $451.96 for the first weekend the service is reinstated. Which isn't to terrible when you factor in that Southwest lets you check your first two bags free.

I don't know about you but I'm ready to start planing a Vegas vacation!
