New York announced that they will soon open an indoor water park bigger than all of the rest. We finally have details when we can expect it and it's sooner than we imagined!

A few months ago, we announced that Resorts World Catskills campus in Monticello would be opening New York's biggest indoor water park in just a few months, the Kartrite Indoor Waterpark. Now, New York Upstate has an update.

We last expected it to open at the end of March but then they announced some delays. Apparently, those delays weren't that hard to deal with because Kartrite announced that they'll be opening on April 19th, 2019. You can check out their 15 massive water slides and rides before the end of the month!

As we mentioned in January:

The park will feature, "15 water slides and coasters, a wave pool, a lazy river and an indoor beach." They have featured a few of their slides, including The Krakken, Zeeslang (which has double switchbacks), Jiggerty-Jaggerty (where you can race your friends), Nor'easter (you can slide with 3 of your friends), and the younger kids can enjoy Kartrite Island and a shallow lagoon called Puddle Ducks.

There's not just a water park. There are a large number of dining options, a fitness center, yoga studio, ropes course, arcade, virtual reality, bowling, climbing wall, and more! For access to the water park only, you can purchase the splash pass for $59/pp and one child under 2 is free per splash pass purchased. If you're active military, veteran, first responder, or public safety code, you can use MILPS for a 10% discount. If you're a senior 65+, you can use SENIOR for the same discount.
