As we enter the weekend of October 13th, yes Friday the 13th, we are approximately half-way through fall foliage season in New York State. As predicted the leaves have been slowly changing so you still have plenty of time for leaf-peeping.

As you will see from the map below the leaves are just starting to change on Long Island. Much of the Adirondacks are past=peak. The question is, where to go to see peak conditions this weekend.

Looks like the Greater Niagara Region, Finger Lakes and the Capital Region are at the mid-point of the Fall foliage season.
