New York, day in and day out, seems to be getting ever closer to becoming a green state. Well, at least when it comes to this type of greenery.

It literally seems like every week there is a new story about the progression of marijuana laws within the Empire State. Well this week, the story revolves around our Governor, Andrew Cuomo. Its a matter of when he is hopeful to see pot become legal. Keyword: hopeful. I know many can home it would be any day now.

This may be a bit of good news for those supporting this movement.

"We will get marijuana done. It's not a question of political desire, it's a question of practical reality of how you put the new system in place, which is not easy," Gov. Cuomo said. "You still need to patrol and regulate." - NEWS 10

The date Cuomo is hoping for: June. Not of 2020, but June of 2019. Could weed be legal in New York in just two short months?
