I'm not sure if this is a bad idea or not.  I mean, I don't personally get anxiety over going to the dentist like some people do, just like I don't get stressed out about flying.  However, with airplanes in mind, many people have an alcoholic beverage (or two) to ease the anticipation of going up in the air thousands of feet.

The only bad part about serving alcohol at the dentist's office would be the obvious reaction to other medication, espeically laughing gas.  But there is a dentist trying this technique, in Manhattan.  It's more or less to take the edge off when patients first arrive at the office and anticipate that the visit won't go very routinely.

So, what do you think?  Good idea or no?
