Fans of the National Football League are as much a part of their team's character and swagger as their Quarterback is. The Seattle Seahawks have the "12th Man", the Cleveland Browns have the "Dawg Pound", the Green Bay Packers have "Cheeseheads" and the Dallas Cowboys fans are known as "Cowgirls" but there is only 1 Bills Mafia.

Saturday night the Buffalo Bills eliminated the Baltimore Ravens from the NFL Playoffs with a 17-3 victory at Bills Stadium in Orchard Park. According to NFL.com Ravens QB Lamar Jackson suffered a concussion toward the end of the third quarter. Jackson entered the NFL's concussion protocol and was ruled out for the remainder of the game. This is where the Bills Mafia rose to the occasion.

Following Saturday's game, USA Today reported, the Bills Mafia united to rally around Lamar Jackson by making donations to his favorite charity in his honor. Blessings In A Backpack is committed to provide food on the weekends for elementary school children across America who might otherwise go hungry.

ESPN is reporting that, as of 4:30pm eastern time Sunday, Blessing In A Backpack had received over 9,000 individual donations and $240,000! The Chief Marketing Officer for Blessing In A Backpack Nikki Grizzle stated, "This amount of money is going to make a huge impact on our organization, especially in a time right now during this pandemic where there's more children now than ever that need our program,". You can make a donation HERE.

One lifelong Bills fan posted on Facebook - "Ya gotta love #billsmafia. This type of action is routine for Bills fans. A little insane, but always looking out for others! A good way to live." - R. Hawke

The Buffalo Bills will travel to Missouri to play the Kansas City Chiefs. The game is scheduled for Sunday January 24, 2021 at 6:40pm and the winner will move on to play in the Super Bowl in Tampa, Florida, Sunday February 7th.
