Did you know that the lead singer of the Psychedelic Furs is also an accomplished artist? Richard Butler lives in Beacon, NY and has been a painter for many years on top of being the frontman for the Psychedelic Furs.

According to Wikipedia, the band took a long hiatus in the early '90s and Butler went on to found a new band, Love Spit Love, with Richard Fortus and Frank Ferrer. But by 2000, The Psychedelic Furs were re-formed.

The newly reunited band released a live album, "Beautiful Chaos: Greatest Hits Live," which included previously unreleased songs like "Anodyne (Better Days)," "Cigarette," and "Wrong Train."

Richard Butler also released a solo album in 2006, according to Wikipedia.
