The Capital Region’s first Kidabaloo is coming this weekend and we’ve got tons of activities and plans for your children to make it a super fun day!

At Kidabaloo, happening Sunday, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Afrims in Bethlehem, you and your kids will have the opportunity to meet Peyton List, star of Disney’s hit comedy series “Jessie.” She also played the role of Holly Hills in the feature films “Diary of a Wimpy Kid: Rodrick Rules” and “Diary of a Wimpy Kid: Dog Days.” Additional film credits include Disney’s “The Sorcerer’s Apprentice,” opposite Nicolas Cage, “Remember Me,” with Robert Pattinson and Chris Cooper and “27 Dresses,” opposite Katherine Heigl.

Her small screen credits include Lifetime’s original movie, “Secrets in the Walls” as well as guest starring roles on “Gossip Girl,” “Saturday Night Live” “Law & Order: SVU” and “Cashmere Mafia.”

You will also get to see singer, songwriter and motivational speaker Billy Dawson. Dawson is a country artist and the author of “You Never Know,” the first book in a series of children’s books focusing on bullying, racism and other societal issues involving children. He brings his book to life when he speaks at schools about the importance of respect and love in everyday life.

Billy Dawson will be performing songs and reading excerpts from his book.

Due to unforeseen circumstances, Joey Bragg will no longer be able to attend, but Peyton List will be joining us for Kidabaloo on Sunday from 12 p.m. to 3 p.m.

In addition to appearances by Billy and Peyton, there will be several kids activities provided by:

  • Tiny Tots Tea Room
  • Facepainting by BonBon
  • Stellar Face and Body Art
  • Tantrum Spas Boutique
  • United Health Community Plan (exhibit area)

Also, Mr. Twisty Balloon Artist and a wandering clown and princesses will be visiting children throughout the event. Bounce rides will also be there, free of charge.
