A rock legend recently explained how he was inspired to write one of the biggest 80's rock songs after he was caught speeding in Upstate NY while on his way from Albany Airport to Lake Placid for a show.
Thinking that the speed limit back in the 1980s was 65 MPH, this lead-footed rocker gassed it up to 62 MPH, only to get pulled over. Here's the rest of the story:

Sammy Hagar claims that he was traveling through Albany when he got the speeding ticket that inspired his '80s hit "I Can't Drive 55!"
Prior to the pandemic, paper tickets were becoming a thing of the past. When we return to our favorite venues we may never hold a paper ticket stub again.
I'm pretty sure Dave Grohl is always up for a challenge. Not that I know the guy. But really, from touring in a cast on a throne, to a drum off with a 10-year-old, the guy knows no bounds.

Today would have been Chris Cornell's 56th birthday. In a fitting manner on the rock legend's birthday, a previous unreleased cover of Guns N' Roses "Patience" done by Cornell was released.
