County Waste has partnered with us to honor those in our communities who are truly making a difference.

All throughout 2016, we will be recognizing one “hero” per month based on their inspirational feats, work helping their neighbors, and everyday passion.

This month we honor Tiffani Scrom, a Teacher in Albany and Volunteer Firefighter in Stillwater, NY. Tiffani's nominator, Shane, says Scrom is a dedicated teacher at Arbor Hill Elementary, and works extended hours to make sure her class is ready for the year. Scrom is currently going to school herself to receive more certifications and simply further her education in order to be the best teacher she can be. As if that weren't enough, Tiffani also donates her time being a Volunteer Firefighter in Stillwater, NY!

Scrom goes above in beyond in the communities of both Albany and Stillwater. This month we salute you, Tiffani- thank you for everything you do!
