Local Restaurant Offering Free Lunch for Veterans on Veterans Day

Here's something we can get behind of!

This Sunday, November 11th, is Veterans Day.  As a thank you to active, retired, and former military members, Texas Roadhouse is offering free lunch.  I initially saw this posted by cbs 6 Albany, with the free lunch hours listed as 11am- 2pm.  Then I saw another post by The Spruce not just mentioning the Texas Roadhouse free lunch, but also a number of other chain restaurants offering free meals or deals to veterans on Veterans Day.

In the Capital Region, there's a Texas Roadhouse located at 105 Wolf Rd in Albany.  According to cbs 6 Albany, the Veterans Day lunch menu includes ten entrees including steak, sides, and a drink.  I have to admit, their food is delicious, and it's great to see something nice being done for all of those who sacrifice and serve.  Happy Veterans Day and thank you for your service!
