County Waste has partnered with WGNA to honor those in our communities who are truly making a difference. All throughout 2017, we will be recognizing one “hero” per month based on their inspirational feats, work helping their neighbors, and everyday passion.  Time to meet July's "Hometown Hero": Frank Curtis from Waterford

Frank Curtis a humble man from Waterford who's dedicated nearly 30 years of his life to servings his community as an EMS, firefighter, CPR instructor, and with the Police Academy in Schenectady.  Not only is Frank saving lives, he's teaching and mentoring others to do the same!  When we talked to Frank and informed him that he was chosen to be this months "Hometown Hero" he was appreciative but admittedly "humbled" by the recognition and actually thanked US!  No, sir, thank YOU!
