Holiday Train and Live Music Coming to Capital Region in Two Weeks
Winter temperatures are setting in, and it’s time to get ready for the holidays with some live music and cheer!
The Canadian Pacific Holiday Train is going to be making Capital Region stops in about two weeks! According to Saratoga.com the holiday train is going to be making stops in Mechanicville and Saratoga on Monday, 11/26/18. The Mechanicville stop will happen at 5:45 pm and the Saratoga Stop will happen that day at 7:20 pm.
The following day, the train will be making stops in Fort Edward, Ticonderoga, Port Henry, Plattsburgh, and Rouses Point. The stops include live music from the rock band Sam Roberts Band (who I’ve worked for many times in a previous job and LOVE), and of course holiday cheer. Each stop will last about 10-15 minutes.
The goal of the train is to bring cheer as well as help the less fortunate, so local food banks are going to be collecting donations at each stop. You can get all of the info on times and locations at Saratoga.com!
