It's freezing on the east coast, spring-like in the south and apparently hot enough to melt steel in Arizona. 

A local weatherman in Phoenix was giving the temperature updates for the day. A typical day for Cory McCloskey, until something peculiar happened. A temperature malfunction.

The temperatures began reading in the thousands. Cave Creek was registering a 2,960 degree day. Cory handled it like a champ. Didn't miss a beat and even through in some well-timed humor.
