We have heard rumors for what feels like years now. Rumors no more, Chick-Fil-A will soon call the Capital Region home.

I hate the fact that we don't already have one of these chains, being that it isn't per se a regional chain. As in they only have them in the south (OK, a few are in the Northeast). I mean, damn, the company has 1,600 locations! But the wait won't be all that much longer. But the location is a bit more tricky.

Chick-Fil-A is set to open up at, get this, the Albany International Airport of all places. I mean, I suppose I'll take it, considering we don't have one at all right now. I feel like for the first year the traffic and lack of parking at the airport may cause many flights to be missed. The chain is set to be open by March 1st, 2018. They will be occupying the area Villa Fresh Italian Kitchen operates in. So much for that pumpkin spice pizza. Rats...

Also worth noting, Todd English will be opening in the airport as well. But I have never heard of that and just want me a chicken sandwich.
