In limited quantities. So you might want to get in line. Like, right now.

Back in July we learned that that Nintendo was bringing back the Classic Nintendo Entertainment System in a mini plug and play form. Just as we thought back then it has certainly become one of 2016's hottest holiday gifts. Stores across the country have been sold out for weeks and the systems are going for top dollar amounts on sites like eBay, Craigslist, and Amazon. What retails for $59.99 is now going for upwards of $250 for people trying desperately to get them before Christmas.

Well, Bust Buy has put the word out that stores across the country will be receiving a shipment of the mini NES Classics and they will be available in stores only tomorrow (Tuesday, December 20th).

I called up the Best Buy at Crossgates Mall in Albany to see if the word on the internet was correct and was met with a recording (before you could even reach a person) that stated:

The NES Classic Edition will not be available at BestBuy.com. On December 20th, Best Buy will have limited quantities of the console available in Best Buy locations. NES Classic editions will be sold on a first come first serve basis. Just like on Black Friday, our stores will have a ticketing process for customers waiting in line. We will only pass out as many tickets as we have consoles and quantities will not be released over the phone.

I have it on good authority that the "limited quantities" is somewhere around 13 consoles per store (but don't hold me to that number my sources could totally be wrong). So if your are adamant about getting one before Christmas at retail price you might want to bundle up and get inline like NOW.
